WANGANELLA ARRIVES 10 A.M.

OVERSEAS VESSELS IN PORT,

The port is assuming a fairly busyappearance with the arrival of several overseas vessels. The Tamaroa arrived from London at 5.40 last evening, the Golden Bear arrived from Pacific Coast ports yesterday afternoon, and the Wairana from the same ports in the evening. This morning the Port Auckland arrived from New York, after a fine weather voyage, except for _ a southerly gale met with when nearing Auckland. She called at Pitcairn Island on this trip. The Wanganella is due from Sydney at 10 a.m. to-morrow with a full list of passengers. The Port Whangarei sails at 5 p.m. to-day on her first regular run to Nukualofa. Wanganella will arrive from Sydney at 10 o'clock to-morrow morning, berthing at the Queen's wharf. She leaves at 4 o'clock on Monday afternoon for Sydney. (HJ».) Niagara, which left Sydney at 5.15 p.m. yesterday, is due here early on Monday morning. She sails for Vancouver, via way ports, at 11 a.m. on Tuesday. (U.S.S. Co.) Wairuna arrived at 7 o'clock last evening from Los Angeles and Pacific coast ports. She will continue her voyage to Southern ports at 11 p.m. to-day. (U.S.S. Co.) Kaimiro will arrive from Sydney at 7 a.m. to-morrow, and later sails for Napier and via Portland. (U.S.S. Co.) Port Auckland arrived shortly 'before 9 o'clock this morning from New York after a fine weather passage. Captain Pobinson is in command, and has Mr. Ball as first officer, and Mr. Easthoe as second officer. (F.A.C.) Hertford sailed at 4.20 p.m. yesterday for Southern ports to continue loading for Southampton and London. (N.Z.S. Co.)

Antiope, which has been discharging bitumen at the Western wharf, sailed for Wellington at 7.20 this morning. (Spedding.)

Wingatui is now due to arrive at midnight from Newcastle. She will anchor in the harbour, and berth first thing to-morrow at the King's wharf. (U.S.S. Co.)

Port Whangarei is due to sail at 5 p.m. to-day for Nukualofa, Tonga, in auguration of a regular four-weekly service. (U.S.S. Co.)

Surrey left Gisborne at 8 p.m. yesterday, and will arrive here at 6 o'clock this evening to load for London, berthing at the Central wharf. (N.Z.S. Co.) Cumberland, in ballast, is due at Auckland on Sunday afternoon. She loads here for London and west coast of England ports. (X.Z.S. Co.)
