ATHLETICS.

CARNIVAL AT OTAHUHU. FINE PROGRAMME ARRANGED. A particularly attractive programme of athletic and cycle- events has been arranged for the Otalruhu Amateur Athletic Clnb'a carnival at Sturgess Park to-morrow evening, commencing at 7.30 o'clock. Entries for all events are heavy, and some splendid sport should be witnessed. Athletic evenr.3 include senior races for all distances from 100 yds to one mile, a mile walk, two ladies' and two junior races, and men's and ladies' relays. On the cycling side of the programme there will be a ladies' race, a boys' race and junior race, and two opeu races, one of a mile and another of two miles.
