THREE IN HOSPITAL,

Falling into a bucket "of hot water yesterday afternoon, William Rule, two-"year-old son of Mr. S. A. Rule, of 10, Columbia Street. Sandringhani, suffered severe scalds on hie back. He was admitted to the Auckland Hospital.

While playing at his home at Tl, Ilackett Street, Heme Bay, yesterday afternoon, James Smith, aged 0, fell and fractured a thigh. He was taken by St. John Ambulance to the Auckland Hospital, where he was admitted. Playing with a small axe at her home at 20 Hutchinson Avenue, New Lynn, last evening, Vcrna Shadbolt, aged 3£, cut oil a linger. She was taken by St. John ambulance to the Auckland Hospital.
