The second Test match between the English and Australian women cricketers was resumed to-day in ideal weather on a good wicket. Australia in the first innings scorcd 162. Miss Mac Lagan took four wickets for 32 runs and iliss Spear two for 19.
England in the first innings made 291 for five wickets (Miss Mac Lagan 119, Miss Snowball 71, Miss Hide 34, Miss Child 27 not out, Miss Partridge 21 not out). BEALE'S XI. V. N. WAIROA. AUCKLAND LEADS BY 92. Mr. E. C. Beale's team of Auckland cricket colts is playing its final match of its tour of North Auckland at Dargavillc. The opposing side is Northern Wairoa. Yesterday in their lirst innings Northern ■\\'a iroa were all out for 03. Auckland, in their lirst innings, scored 345 runs (Cantley 33, Itoughton 23 not out, B. 11. Smith 20). Bowling for Northern Wairoa, Jones took live wickets for 4'J runs and Game three for 31. Northern Wairoa played out time without loss for 13 runs (Hewin 0, Savident' Oj. The game will be finalised to-day.
