P. AND 0. EXCURSION SHIP.

RECORD NUMBER ABOARD. WitJi more passengers than any other ship has ever brought to New Zealand, the P. and O. liner Strathnnver is expected at noon on Friday, in the course of an excursion tour from Australia.

There are 1041 tourists on tho vessel, and arrangements for inland trips have been on a larger scale than those for the 800 passengers who recently visited Auckland and Wellington by the Strathaird.

The Stratlmavcr will berth at the Prince's wharf, in the same place as that occupied by the Strathaird. She is to leave on Saturday at midnight for Wellington, returning from _. there to Australia.
