SALESMAN'S OFFENCE.

CHRISTCHURCH, this day
A salesman, Cyril Arthur Ibbotson, ;i(>, of Wellington, was charged before Mr. H. A. Young, S.M., to-day, with failing to account for £10 to the Shield Manufacturing Co., Ltd. He was convicted and ordered to come up for sentence if called upon and to refund £10 which had been collected at Hokitika. Counsel said the money had now been paid over, as had been intended all along.
