FLEMINGTON AND CAULFIELD. (Received 2.30 p.m.) MELBOURNE, this day. Conditions were ideal for training at C'aulfield this morning. On the course proper Upoki Ariki and Nightly, moving freely, ran a mile in 1.47%, the last haltmile in 51s. Shatter and Gladswood covered six furlongs in 1.18%. ? 1 .L a ran ten furlongs comfortably in 2.1 J. Homer and Sir John covered three finlongs in 38%5. Lough Neagh ran a nine in 1.48. Miss Nottava and Turbine covered six furlongs in 1.19, and Vauntry n\c furlongs in 1.4%. On the steeple grass Yal Rose traversed six furlongs in 1.19, and Streperus and Flail a mile in 1.50. Oro is under veteiinary care. At Flemington, on the course pr?p er > Peter Pan, Journal and Sarcherie finished in that order at the end of a mile in 1.47%. Theo ran ten furlongs comfortably in 2.25. and Chatham seven furlongs in 1:34%. Broad Arrow ran the concluding five furlongs of his work in l.lvShadow King got to the end of nine furlongs in 2.12%. Master Brierly ran halt a mile in 545. Burlesque beat Phenomenon over five furlongs in 1.4%. _ Sylvandalc and Vista ran live furlongs in 1.5, ana Teak three furlongs in 39%5. On the grass Tophole beat Barrier King over seven furlongs in 1.33%. Gaystar ran ten furlongs in 2.23, the last sis furlongs with Ronsant in 1.19%. Treyford did the best ten furlongs of the morning, taking 2.12%.
