1 , ARE THEY CONNECTED? ' ROTORUA THERMAL CHANGES. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) , ROTORUA, this day. The Fotorua Borough. Council last night discussed the opinion expressed by - the Public Works geologist, in a report to the Department, that the level 1 of Lake Rotorua had 110 connection with 1 thermal activity. 1 "We, as laymen, are supposed to ; know nothing about it, but we can ' believe what we see," declared the i Mayor, Mr. T. Jackson. ' His. remark was supported by mcm- ? hers of the council, who declared that a 1 vcrv definite connection existed between ; the higher lake level and the recent inr creased thermal activity. f It was decided to write to the head 1 office of the Department urging that it - should not lose sight of the necessity > of raising the lake level. 1
