MARKETS ARE STEADIER. The following cables have-been received this morning by local produce dealers from their principals in Tooley Street, London:— The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co.—Butter: Choicest salted, new season, 65/ per cwt; first grade, 62/ to 63/; store, finest (irregular), 60/ to 61/. Market steady. Cheese: White, 48/; coloured, 48/6. Market steady. Messrs. A. H. Turnbull and Co. (Messrs. W. Weddel and Co.). —Butter: Danish, 100/; New Zealand, salted, 64/ to 65/; Australian, 64/ to 65/. Market steadier. Cheese: New Zealand, white, 48/ to 48/6; coloured, 48/6 to 49/. Market steady. Messrs. Joseph Nathan and Co. (principals, Messrs. Trengrouse and Nathan).— Butter: Finest, 64/ to 65/ per cwt: first, 62/ to 63/. Cheese: White and coloured, 48/6 to 49/. Both firm.
