BY OTRANTO.

MR. MacDONALD ARRIVES,

PERTH, October 2,

Among the passengers by the Otranto were Mr. Malcolm Mac Donald, Undersecretary for the Dominions, and his sister, Miss Sheila Mac Donald, youngest daughter of the British Prime Minister. Mr. Mac Donald said a resumption of migration could not and would not be entertained unless the Dominions agreed that it would help them. It was a mistake to believe that Britain desired to dump her unemployed in Australia.

The two visitors are to be the guests of the Melbourne Centenary Council and will remain two months in Australia.
