WEATHER FORECAST.

FOR CITY ANI> PROVINCE.

The Government Meteorologist issued to the "Auckland Star" this afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland province to as far south as Tauranga, Kawhia and Hamilton:—

Light to moderate easterly winds, backing to northerlies, with the weather fine and mild; seas smooth to moderate. The anti-cyclone which has controlled the weather over the Dominion during the past three days is now centred juet east of the North Island, and is moving slowly eastwards, while a depression is advancing across the South Tasman Sea.

HAURAKI GUXF CONDITIONS,

The following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Gulf was received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day: Wind, south, moderate; sea smooth to moderate; weather fine and clear, with scattered clouds; visibility good; barometer steady and high.
