THEATRE MANAGER CHARGED. (By Telegraph.-—Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, Friday. The omission of the w<»rds "approved for universal exhibition" in an advertisement of the film "Going Gay" led j to the prosecution to-day of the manager of the Regent Theatre, who was charged with advertising a picture without including notification as to the nature of the- certificate issued by the censor. , , Mr. Gordon Reed, who represented the defendant, said though the facts were admitted, a formal plea, of not cuilty would be entered, for it was intended to attack the regulations, which, he contended, were ultra vires and invalid. .
