BRIGHT TONE. (Dy Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) CHKISTCHIjRCH, this day. For Saturday morning business was active on the Stock Exchange, with a bright turn and good turnover. In the banking section New Soutli Wales went through at £31, and New Zealands were asked for at recent low rates, buyers offering £2-5/3. There were no sellers. Standard Insurance had a reported sale j at £3 5/. Quotations for Goldsbroughs weakened slightly again on buyers' offers of £1 9/, eellers staying 3d higher.
