PAKURANGA HUNT.
. SEVERAL GOOD RUNS. The Pakuranga Hunt met at the Pukuranga Hall yesterday, and after partaking of the hunt breakfast, provided by the local ladies, hounds threw off on Mr. Lucas' farm. A strong hare was soon.found and gave a.long run to-the top of the hills by Cascade's farmland then towards Howiek, ■afterwards doubling" back- "to --Cascade's farm. Another hare;was .put up, but .after a long run .the scent was lost, on the hills. .The. first hare was put ?up,again, ana vit traversed the farms-of Messrs. Lucas, T. Gill' and A. Bradbury, "then-crossed" the Howlck Road, being'killed on Mr. H. Hattaway's property./,'A- further, hare put up near the Pakuranga' Creek took the hunt over the same countrj-, the hounds eventually being called off.
