The following Water Rates in respect of the ordinary supply, upon the unimproved ratable value of all ratable property as appearing in the Valuation Roll for the time being iu force in the Borough of Northcote :— (a) On all lands and dwelling houses to which water is supplied a rate of Id in the pound (All) provided that in all cases where such rale would produce less than ten shillings (10/) a rate or charge of ten shillings (10/) is hereby made and levied. (b) On all lands and dwelling houses to which water can be but is not supplied, situate within one hundred yards from any part of the water works, a rate of one half of the above rates. (c) On all buildings other than dwelling bouses a rate of one half of the rates mentioned in paragraph (a) hereof provided that in all cases where the supply is by meter the rate shall not be levied. 4. A Uniform Annual Fee in respect of the cleansing of closets or privies at the rate of two pounds twelve shillings for each pan in each of such closets or privies. 5. A Uniform Annual Fee iu respect of the removal of dry house refuse of one shilling (1/) upon all properties as have a building erected (hereon from which the council is prepared to remove such refuse. The said Rates and Fees to be payable in each case in one sum on the 7fh August, 1034. at the Town Clerk's Office. Queen Street. Northcote, to A. P. Paltry, the Council's Collector, or to such other person lis the Council may from time to time appoint, to collect and receive the same. In accordance with Seel ion 04 of the Rating Act, 1025, the Council has resolved that there be allowed to every Ratepayer a rebate of live pounds per centum of so much of the amount of. 1.
