HARMONY GROUP.

On Monday night the Harmony Group held an enjoyable evening in the Fabian club rooms. Madame HumphreySteward (president) occupied the chair, and Miss D. Smith and Miss N. Buchan acted as hostesses. Songs were sung by Misses M. Taylor, E. Smith, D. Atkins and Mrs. N. Clark, and elocutionary items rendered by Misses B. Birch, J. Williamson and K. Manners ' and Mr. Mick Orr. Misses G. Williams and D. Smith played a pianoforte duet, and Miss Betty Kerr did a Spanish dance. The floor was then cleared and a jolly danee brought the evening to a successful conclusion. Among those present were: Mesdames Williamson, Manners, Atkins, M. Butler, R. E. Sims, G. G. Chambers and M. Cooper, Misses Muriel Taylor, V. Douglas, W. James, I. Holmes, V. Mathieson, M. Treacy, A. Westwood, N. Lawson, R. Bae, S. Stevens, N. Stevens, R. McMaster, G. Forder, E. Paice, N. Taylor,-E. M. Dennison and E. Ryan.
