MOTORISTS ESCAPE.
SCRAMBLE TO SAFETY. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHANG ARE I, this day. A party returning to Whangarei by car from Paparoa at the height of the gale on Monday night had an alarming experience. It finished up balanced on. the sump over a bank.
