FURTHER RAIN.
UNSETTLED CONDITIONS FORECAST. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. A cyclonic depression is still centred near the northern extremity of the Dominion, while intense anti-cyclones are centred near the Chatham Islands and over the western Tasman Sea. The forecast is for moderate to strong north-east winds, backing to soutli-wes'-terly within 24 hours, the weather still unsettled, dull and misty, with further rain, but. conditions gradually improvThe following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Gulf was received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day:— Wind, N.N.E. fresh; hazy, with detached clouds and showers; weather unsettled; visibility fair; sea rough outside; barometer steady.
