MANY HEATH FIRES.
ENGLAND'S LONG- DRY SPELL. (Received 10 a.m.) RUGBY, June 19. Hot, dry weather continues to prevail throughout Britain. Although there seemed to be a possibility of a thunderstorm last night the general ouUook indicates a continuance of the drought. Heath fires have occurred in some parts of the country. Several acres were burned on Ascot Heath near the racecourse.
