U.S. to Inquire Into British Plan For German - Trade. DEBT MORATORIUM SEQUEL. (Received 10.30 a.m.) WASHINGTON, June 19. President Roosevelt and the State Department are inquiring into the proposal of Great Britain to impound the trade profits of Germany to offset the refusal of that Government to pay foreign debts.
