LOCAL BODIES.
| NORTHCOTE BOROUGH COUNCIL. The Northcote Borough Council met last evening, the Mayor, Mr. R. Martin, presiding. Finance Report.—The chairman of the finance committee, Mr. W. C. Ellis, reported that accounts totalling £1458 had been passed for payment. Of that sum, £975 was for interest on loans. Levy for Water.—The North Shore Water Board announced that the levy from the borough was £85 for the year 1934-35. Little Shoal Bay Reserve.—The council is to meet the Birkenhead Council on the Little- Shoal Bay reserve on Saturday, June 30, to discuss the future utilisation of the reserve.
