BREAD WITHOUT FLOUR. LONDON", May 30. 'The greatest invention since electricity," is Signor Mussolini's description of a new bread made without flour, says the Paris correspondent of the "Sunday Dispatch." It is being baked in Paris, and eaten in all parts of France. It is also supplied to customers in London by air. A revolutionary process, invented by a Jewish scientist, Efram Rabinovitch, it enables men and animals for the first time to digest the whole nutriment in the wheat grain, whereas neither previously was able to digest the husk, containing the most nutritive elements. The bursting of the husks, releasing the nutrition, is contrived by placing dough prepared in a special manner from previously prepared grain in a cylindrical germinating apparatus, in which it is subjected to pressure. It is then forced out and passed through a kneading machine with yeast, then baked into wholemeal bjpad. Those who have been eating the bread declare that their health has improved and their children grow faster. Senator Menier, a French scientist, is successfully feeding live stock on bran prepared by the new process. Beef, mutton and pork fed upon it took all the principal prizes at the annual food exhibition at Paris.
