Tlio Mount Albert Croquet Club held (lie first of a series of fortnightly l)iidj;e and 500 afternoons in the bowling pavilion this week. Mrs. Maxwell, the president, received the guests and presented the prizes: Bridge, Mrs. G. F. Hosking and Mrs. Stratford; 500, Mrs. D. Wilson and Mrs. A. Poss; competition, Mrs. Watson.
