BANK OF NEW ZEALANDS IMPROVE At the last call of the week bidding was quietly firm, with a good demand for most lines. The most noticeable feature was continued firmness of Bank of New Zealuncls, which changed hands at £2 12/7, the highest figure realised in recent years. However, this proved to he peak in the meantime, as subsequent offers to sell at this price were not accepted. Li the coal section Taupiris were easier, with sellers at 13/6.
