DIVIDEND RECOMMENDED.

TEN PER CENT FOR YEAR. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Thursday. Subject to audit it will be proposed at the annual meeting of the Bank of New Zealand on June 15 that a final dividend at the rate of 5 per cent on ordinary shares for the last half-year be paid, making, with thejnterim dividend paid in December, 10 per cent for the year. For a considerable period the bank's annual distribution was a dividend of 10 per cent plus a bonus, making the total yearly distribution 14 1-3 per cent. For the final half of 1933-34 the bonus was not paid, and shareholders received Hi per cent for that year.
