AMATEUR WRESTLER HURT. BENZINE TANK EXPLOSION. • (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) DARGAVILLE, this day. Suffering from a fractured skull, Herbert Watkins (19) was admitted to the Northern Wairoa Hospital in a critical condition. With a number of" other youths, Watkins was at the Wlienuanui Hall practising for a wrestling competition. When the lights failed he went into an anteroom and pumped more air into the benzine light supply tank. No sooner had he done this than a heavy explosion occurred.
