Sir Malcolm Campbell's Next Try at Speed Record. IN U.S.A. DURING WINTER. (Received 2 p.m.) SYDNEY, this day. Private advices state that Sir Malcolm Campbell, has informed the American Automobile Association that ho will attempt to beat his own land speed record of 272 miles an hour in July or August of this year on Salduro Lake, near Salt Lake City, which in summer time is covered with packed mineral salt.

FURTHER SENSATIONS. (Received 1 p.m.) PARIS, March 21. Further sensations in the Stavisky affair are the arrest of M. Gaulier, formerly his and at present Mme. Stavisky's counsel, on charges of swindling, also an assertion by the newspaper "Le Liberte" that a film of Stavisky's death not only showed the body but scenes outside the villa before the detectives entered. "La Liberte" asks why the police informed three news film, companies before effecting the arrest.
