N.A. CHAMPIONSHIP BANNER. The final of tbe championship banner fullrink competition conducted by the North Auckland Bowling Centre was played yesterday on the Dargaville green. A keenlycontested game ended Hogg, O. Williams, Vodanovlcli, 1). A. Williams (Dargaville) 23, v. Kokieli, Telfer, Morrisb, Piggott (Wliuugarei) 20. AUCKLAND CLUB. The Auckland Bowling Club held an open tournament yesterday, 22 teams competing. Five rounds of 12 beads were played on excellent greens and under perfect bowling conditions; ■ Results:-—■ Section A.—De Launay (Carlton), Livingstone (Onehunga), Mingins (Remuera), 4 wins; Keys (Auckland). Denison (Balmoral), 3 wins; E. B. Burton (Epsom), 2 wins: Walker (Mount Albert), Ilosking (Carlton), no wins. De Launay won the section. Section B.—Sutherland (Onehunga), Taylor (Carlton), 4 wins; Ritchie (Carlton). Letham (Ponsonby), Brown (Rawiiiti), 3 wins; Daniels (Remuera), 2 wins; Knox (West End), H. 1". Burton (Avondalc), 1 win. Sutherland won the section. Section C.—Clarke (Carlton), 4 wins; Wrightson (Carlton), Gatlaud (Onehunga), Eagleton (Rocky Nook), 3 wins; Barker (Auckland), 2 wins; Adams (West End), no wins. Clarke won tlie section. Clarke will play Sutherland to-morrow, de Launay having a bye. The final will bo played at a later date. - — ___ ANOTHER NIGHT TOURNEY. The 31st night bowling tourney was held by the Ponsonby Club last evening. Results :— First Round.—Moloney, Walker (Grey Lynn) 11 v. Webster, Hill (Ponsonby) 7; E. Caddy, J. Preston (Grey Lynn) 8, v. Bartley, Peters (Ponsonby) 4 ; Carbines, Oates (Ponsonby) 7, v. White, Mason (Grey Lynn) 5. Second Round.—Mason 0. v. Ilill 7; Preston S, v. Oates S ; Peters 5, v. Walker 3. Third Round.—Preston S, v. Hill 5; Peters 7, v. Mason 5 ; Oates !), v. Walker 8. Totals.—Preston, Oates, 2J wins ; Peters, 2 wins; Walker, Mason, 1 win; Ilill, no wins. The final was won by Preston. CHEMISTS' ANNUAL MATCH. The annual bowling tournament between retail chemists and wholesale chemists will be played on Saturday next at the Hlllsboro.' .green.
