STELLA POLARISE

YACHT'S PACIFIC CRUISE. (From Our Own Correspondent.) SUVA, March 1. The latest arrival among the many touring vessels carrying passengers among the sunny isles of the Pacific is the yacht Stella Polaris, which started from New York with some ,60 odd passengers. She arrived in Suva early on Friday afternoon and after mekes and music the people had a big dinner to the accompaniment of music by the Defence Force Band and songs by a native choir, followed by a dance. Among the passengers were the Baroness Ravensdale, daughter of the late Lord Curzon, formerly Viceroy of India, and the Hon. Larz Anderson, once U.S. Minister to Japan and American Minister to Belgium. He is accompanied by Mrs. Anderson, [who is a well-known writer of travel books. On the Saturday visitors were driven round the sights and at 1 p.m. the Native Military Band played the vessel out from the wharf.
