SCHEME FOR MOUNT EDEN. UNEMPLOYMENT SUBSIDY. Intimation that if application was made to the Unemployment Board consideration would be given to the gran - ins of a subsidy was made by Mr. K. ,T. Mills at last night's meeting of the Mount Eden Borough. Council. Ihe matter un&er discussion at the time was borough drainage. . Mr. Mills said that at present drainage work was being carried out in the borough by men on relief, some getting two days and others three days a week.
