UNIVERSITY AWARDS. POST-GRADUATE HONOURS. ARTS and science prizes. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Awards of post-graduate and science scholarships were announced to-day by A special committee of the New Zealand University Senate. For the 1851 Exhibition scholarship and post-graduate science scholarship two graduates, T. E. Easterfield (Canterbury) and H. Service (Otago), were nominated for final decision by the Royal commissioners. The following awards were made: — Post-graduate Scholarships rin Arts.— L. \V. A. Crawley (Auckland) and C. J. Seciyc (Victoria). Free Passages.^ —11. P. Donald (Canterbury Agricultural College), 11. R. Minn (Otago), C. J. Seelye (Victoria). A fourth award was withhold pending the decision on the science scholarships. Cook Memorial Prize in Mathematics. —T. E. Easterfield (Canterbury). Sir James G. Wilson Prize in Agriculture. —E. A. Clarke (Massey College).
Schlieh Memorial Prize in Forestry.— J. W. Syme (Canterbury).
