Over 100 subterranean exp?os!ons were experienced at Gunning, most of tliem more severe than those on Tuesday. Residents are becoming increasingly alarmed. The walls in several houses cracked and plaster fell from others. A severe tremor was felt at Goulburn simultaneously with a big shock at Gunning. Father O'Leary, of the Riverview Observatory, says that terrifying as the phenomenon may be, residents .of Gunning can take consolation in the assurace° that nothing serious is likely to happen there. The trouble is purely of a local character.
