NEW LYNN BUSES.
FAKE REVISION WANTED. "I consider the time has arrived for a . revision of faree charged on buses serving the New Lynn district." said the Mayor, Mr. Geo. Lawson, at last night's Borough Council meeting:. "It will readily be admitted that we enjoy an excellent service—one that is essential to the progress of the borough— but it is my opinion that the fares are excessive when considered in relation to the earning power of the people served." He recommended that the council approach the Auckland Bus Company with a that an allround reduction be *aade. The council agreed, and will act accordingly.
