CARD QUOITS.

This is a party game suitable for people of all ages. A hat, a basket or a box, and two packs of cards are re_quired. The players take sides, tne same number on each, and to each sido a pack of cards is dealt out as evenly as possible. The hat is placed in the centre of the floor, and the players form a circle around it. and in turn each player endeavours to throw a card into the hat. When the cards have all been thrown, those in the hat are emptied, and the side having the largest number of cards in the hat wins. ■ .

Cards resting on the rim do not count unless they are knocked in by a subsequent throw by. any player on either side. The normal distance from the hat to the throwers is five or six feet. — (Copied.)
