THE SUNKEN" COUNTESS. The scows Moa and Waikonini have finished their share of the work* of taking the sunken trawler Countess in toward Sulphur Beach, Northcote. The old steamer is still nearly , half a mile off the beach, and is on the bottom. At low tide her plugs are removed to drain out the water in the hull, and when the tide floods, attempts are being made to move the wreck further inshore.
