AGROUND AT SUEZ.
STEAMER ESPERANCE BAY. (Received 9.30 a.m.) LONDON", January 5. A message from Port Said states that the steamer Esperance Bay is aground in the Bitter Lakes section of the Suez Canal. Traffic is not obstructed, but the vessel may have to discharge her cargo before being released. The Esperance Bay is a twin-screw eteamer o£ 14,716 tons, which was built at Glasgow in 1922 for the Australian Commonwealth Line.
