rPLIFT OF DEPRESSED CLASS. (Received 11 a.m.) LONDON; December 25. A message from liidia states that here is evidence that the civil disbedience movement is moribund, and hat it is unlikely that Gandhi, who is ireocctipied with his campaign to uplift lie depressed classes, will take aii ctive part in the future. At the end of November there were 312 disobedience prisoners in gaols, vhich was a decline of 549 as compared nth the total in the previous month. |
