TWO DASHES FOR LIBERTY

INVERCARGILL, this day

Arrested on a charge of burglary at a store in Otautau," Eric Anthony Bulman, aged 23, made a clash for liberty, but was recaptured after an exciting chase of over a mile. This morning, when 011 the way from tlio celjs to the Police Court he made another dash, with the police in hot pursuit. He attempted to leap over a creek, but fell in, and was recaptured. Appearing in Court in wet and muddy clothes, he was remanded for a week, and taken to the cells handcuffed to a detective.
