PROGRESSIVE SCHEME.
CAMPAIGN AT TAURANGA. (15y Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) TAURANGA, this day. The publicity commit tee appointed by the Tauranga Chamber of Commerce has presented a lengthy report which states' that it has been decided to carry out a systematic publicity campaign setting out the claims of Tauranga and district as a health resort in summer and winter. Various schemes were submitted, and it was decided to raise £250 for an advertising fund, the Borough Council to be asked to provide £100, the Power Board £5.0, and the balance to be raised by subscriptions. ' A conference is to be held of representatives of local bodies in furtherance of the scheme. A competition has been arranged among the local high school scholars for an advertising slogan.
