FARMER'S DEATH.
FOtTND SUFFOCATE!*. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) AYHAXGAKEI, this day. The inquest into the death of George William Russell, Waikiekie, who was found dead on his farm yesterday, was held before the coroner, llr. H. C. Hemp--I,'ll this morning. Deceased was found lying head downwards on the side of a fairly steep hill about a mile from his home. He was dead when found. . Dr. S. IL Ward stated that an external examination failed to reveal the cause of death, and that he carried out a postmortem examination. Death, in his opinion, to due to suffocation caused by food in '.he windpipe, which could 'i;:ve been by a seizure and ,!"ceased's fall head downwards on the - ; de of the hill. A verdict in accordance with the •i.ci'iti 1 , testimony was returned.
