I was interested in the letter of your correspondent "Parnell" re destruction of Domain trees, and I was by no means reassured by; tne reply of the chairman of the parks committee that no tree of scenic value would be cut out. For onlv last week one of the loveliest trees in the 'Domain was sacrificed.
