In the second round of the Lancashire Cup St. Helens Recreation beat Swinton, 19—5. Rugby Union.—United Services beat The Rest of Hampshire, 14—9. Soccer.—Arsenal, the English league champions, beat Everton, last year's cup winners, by 3 goals to 0.
