There is still a remarkably good demand for local onions, the importation of j Canadian onions apparently having had no marked effect us fur as Pukekohe is concerned. The prices at present are around £10 per ton. Good supplies of Pukekohe new potatoes are coming forward. Digging operations arc commencing on a largo wale. The demand i« only fair at the present prices, 10/ to jj 10 5/ per ton. The quality i« very good. Good supplies of cauliflowers are coining forward again after the recent rains. The present price is 8/ per sack. Demand is fair. Cabbages are! fairly plentiful, and are bringing 6/6 pej sack. Demand is fair.
