OIJ> NORTHERN" RESIDENT. WHANGAREI, this day. Mr. Harry Norris, <i man about <>5 years of age, and ;i very old resident of the Waiharara district, was found dead in u tent in which lie lived on the sandhills near the Ninety-Mile Beach at Waipapakauri. Ho had been engaged on relief works there. Mr. Norris had been ill for a week, and had received neighbourly attention from Mr. Walker. The latter on going to visit tlie old man yesterday, in company with }lr. Jlilton Jones, found him dead at the door of his tent. Constable Buckley had the body taken to Kaitaia.. It is unlikely that an inquest will be hold. There arc no relative* in New Zealand.
