WALKER-OSWALD MATCH
The Walker-Oswald wrestling match at the Town Hall on Monday is Deing anticipated with interest, as Oswald has not yet wrestled in Auckland, and his debut against Walker is expected to provide the possibilities of a sensation, in view of the fact that Walker is reported to be a bit below his best form at the moment.
DARGAVILLE TOURNAMENT.
In the first amateur wrestling tourney ever held here (controlled by the Whangarei Amateur Wrestling and Gymnasium Club), the principal match was between B. Hollows (Whangarei), 10.10, North Auckland amateur champion, and F. Munce (Auckland), 11.4. ifbllows won by straight falls, remaining unbeaten for the season without a fall being registered against him. The contest between teams of the Whangarei and Ruawai Clubs for the "Vesta Cup was won easily by Whangarei, which won three out of four bouts. Results: Vesta Cup.—Les Meir (Ruawai), 10.5, beat S. Mcßeath (Whangarei), 0.6; N. Boyd (Whangarei), 10.2, beat J. Wallac.e (Ruawai), 10.7: T. Hollows (Whangarei), 10.10, beat A. Wallace (Ruawai), 11.3; R. Hollows (Whangarei), 12.0, beat L. Meir (Ruawai), 11.7. Preliminaries.—N. North (Whangarei), 8.2, beat L. Rowland (Dargaville). 8.11; F. Hollows (Whangarei), 9.6, beat R. Rae (Dargaville), 9.2; J. Kissin (Whangarei), 8.12, beat N.
