Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Auckland, advise having received the following telegram from their Duuedin branch, reporting on the opossum skin sale held in Dunedin on August 25:—Opossums, 37,000 offered; our catalogue. 24,300. ' Good demand. Compared with July, good to fuper skins Cd to 1/ lower. Secondary grades firm. Prices:—Blacks, 4/6 to 13/; la-owns, 3/7 to 8/; reds, 3/ to 7/7; greys, . 4-/6 to 10/; blues, 5/3 to 14/2; inferior, 1/10 to 3/6; small, l/ 6to 4/0. Skins from Auckland district sold well.
