"FREE MILLS."
SALE OF WHEAT QUESTION. ' FARMERS' UNION CRITICISM. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, Friday. The question of selling wheat to "free" mills was again raised at today's meeting of the Southland executive of the Farmers' Union, and the majority of members was agreed that the Wheat Purchase Board's restrictions were not justified. A resolution presented by the grain and seeds committee was carried. It was as follows: "That in the opinion of this executive there was no justification for the Wheat Purchase Board restricting the sale of wheat to mills, and this executive urges upon the board the urgent necessity of immediately removing all restrictions (excepting as to price) upon the sale of wheat to flour mills."
