Swedes Get Contract for, Line Across Persia. FIVE YEARS' WORK. (Received 11.30 a.m.) CONSTANTINOPLE, August 17. A Swedish group has secured the contract to construct a 1000-mile railway across Persia from the Caspain Sea to the Gulf of Basra. It will take five years to build.
