DEY SPELL HAS NO TERRORS. RUGBY, August 14. In spite of the. prolonged period of dry weather, no scarcity of water is anticipated in London and provincial towns and restrictions are unlikely. In London the maintenance of supplies is assured owing to the development policy of the Metropolitan Water Board since the war, and notably to the vast increase in storage afforded by the new reservoir near Staines, which, has a capacity of 6,750,000,000 gallons.
