USELESS SHEEP.
Chile's Loss of English Market. DUE TO RESTRICTIONS. (Received 2 p.m.) SANTIAGO, June 20. A message from Magallanes states that the new British restrictions on meat importations have forced Chilean ranchers to slaughter 225,000 sheep, from which the only marketable product was tallow. Ordinarily, almost all the sheep raised on this region were exported to England.
